Customer Reviews

Mark; I purchased a KLX330 kit for my 2009 KLX 250 dual sport from you about two months ago. The shop that did the install for me, also dyno-tuned it as well. I attached the dyno-file for your reference. The performance gain is outstanding. Especially just off-idle, the bike pulls with a lot more authority. I mostly trail ride the bike, short shift and don’t use a lot of rpm, so your kit worked out great for the power band I need. The bike is just a lot more fun to ride now. I think your choice to keep the compression close to stock instead of bumping the compression as is the norm its seems when offering big bore kits, was a great choice. The bike doesn’t run any hotter, the starter turns it over just as fast and it idles well. It vibrates a little more, but it’s not objectionable. I also noticed that the CV carburetor response at low rpm’s is much improved. It seems like much more vacuum is being created to get the slide to pull up faster. The bike doesn’t bog down when you open the throttle anymore. The guys at CM Motorsports thought your cylinder finish and piston tolerances were excellent.

Thanks for offering a great product. I appreciate that you took the time to answer my excessive questions prior to my decision to purchase. Not too many outfits are making any performance parts for this bike, so I am glad you are! Greg So. Ca.
